Replace Centrifuges – 

PET replaced the 3 existing centrifuges at Cronulla Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) with 2 new Alfa Laval G3 type units, complete with relevant mechanical installation and control system. The existing third unit was decommissioned as part of this scope of works.

The existing centrifuge poly batching system was electrically modified, with the existing local remote I/O panel removed and replaced by a PLC.  The existing dry polymer system was left generally unaltered, with the only major alteration being to the existing centrifuge poly batching systems electrical control and wiring.

New Gas Flare Installation

The new gas flare is a new stand alone system, complete with new flare installation and equipment, control system back to SCADA and compound installation including the concrete slab area. The new gas flare installation includes modifications to the existing gas feed pipework and integration of the existing gas flare installation with the new operation. The works included all testing and commissioning of the new system and existing system.
